6w7, The Guardian with a Seven wing
How the Seven wing colours the Guardian
A Seven wing brings lightness to the Six. Sixes with this wing still keep an eye out for trouble, but they tend to deal with it by staying connected and keeping things moving. They're often friendly, funny and easy to get to know, and they put real effort into the groups and friendships that help them feel secure.
Six and Seven are both Head types, so the worry doesn't go away; it just shows differently. A 6w7 might joke about what they're anxious about, fill their diary so there's no time to dwell, or check in with friends before a decision. That warmth makes them good company. It can also make it hard to sit with uncertainty on their own, or to say no when someone asks for help.
You might be a 6w7 if…
- you handle nerves with humour and good company.
- you like to talk a decision through with friends before you make it.
- you keep busy partly so you don't have time to worry.
- you're loyal and fun, but you find it hard to say no.
Strengths and watch-outs
Strengths

- Balances caution with a real sense of fun

- May take on too much to keep worry at bay
- Swings between caution and acting on impulse
What helps
What tends to help is making some decisions alone and seeing that they hold up. 6w7s also grow by sitting with a worry for a moment instead of filling every gap with plans. Like other Sixes, they settle as they learn to trust the steadiness they already have.
6w7 or 6w5?
Next to a 6w5, a 6w7 is more sociable and more outward. A 6w5 tends to step back and study a problem alone until it makes sense. A 6w7 tends to reach out, talk it over and lighten the mood. Both are looking for something steady to rely on, but the 6w7 usually finds it in people, and the 6w5 in understanding. If you meet uncertainty by moving toward others, the Seven wing may fit.
