Type 5, The Observer

Curious and independent, they make sense of the world by understanding it.

Fives make sense of the world by understanding it. They like to watch, think and learn before they act, and they need plenty of time alone to recharge. Their energy feels limited, so they protect it with care.

They bring calm, clear thinking and a depth of knowledge that people come to rely on, and they're often at their most useful when everyone else is caught up in feelings. What trips them up is pulling back too far, from people and from their own feelings. They may also wait to feel fully ready before they join in.

Core desire
To understand how things work and handle life on their own terms.
Core fear
Being caught out without the knowledge or energy they need.
